Career Forum is India’s leading education portal

Candidates should prepare resumes in both English and Japanese; having a native Japanese speaker check over their Japanese version is recommended.

Online Job Search

Instead of attending Career Forums in person, Career Focus Network’s online job search feature makes it easier to locate positions that match your skills and experience. When they detect you as suitable, companies will reach out and conduct interviews. You can apply for internships or full-time jobs and take a look at participating companies by reviewing our Participating Company List.

CFN provides you with an opportunity to launch a career using your Japanese-English bilingualism. They also provide support throughout your search for employment and gaining experience.

Start off your application process on Career Forum Education Portal by clicking the Apply Online button and creating an account and filling out your profile to access jobs listed there. Enter your educational background, work experience, qualifications, resume section as well as English and Japanese versions – some companies may prefer one over the other! Additionally, add extracurricular activities or anything that makes you stand out among applicants so your application stands out more! You may even apply simultaneously at different companies before your interview process commences!

Online Seminars

Career Forum offers more than online job hunting events; they also host numerous seminars and workshop sessions about different industries and companies through ZOOM online seminars that you can attend from anywhere around the world. Some speakers also host live Q&A sessions; please ensure a stable Internet connection to ensure maximum participation!

In 2025, The Forum will introduce online Op-Ed workshops designed to guide students and alumni through the process of writing an opinion piece for publication in a local newspaper or magazine. Each hour-long session will include tips from communications professionals as well as peer feedback on drafts submitted.

Online Professional Certification in Education Abroad

This professional development program is designed to help you meet the Standards of Practice for high-quality study abroad programs at your institution, and fulfill your institution’s goals of offering top quality courses abroad. It consists of six Professional Certification workshops delivered by a Forum Trained Facilitator as well as Standards assignments; upon completing, a digital badge will be issued and you can use The Forum’s “Certified Professional” mark on resumes, CVs, letterheads or websites.

Career Forum offers virtual career fairs where you can watch company videos, attend seminars and conduct interviews from any location around the globe. In order to take part in these fairs, candidates must first register at candidate registration each day – download our CFN app to track your attendance as well as information on participating companies and interview schedules!

Live Online

Career Forum Education Portal features live classes led by some of the world’s finest academic tutors-mentors who approach teaching as a craft, whether that means playwrights revealing literature as living composition or physicists connecting classroom concepts to cutting-edge research. Academic tutors bring their knowledge, experience and skills directly to students fostering both their success in school as well as intellectual and personal growth.

On-campus seminars are held in partnership with co-op, WIL, EL and career services offices at US/Canada universities. These sessions are tailored to newcomers to the field or working directly with students; yet provide ample discussions and tools even experienced team leaders find useful.

Participants who successfully complete the program will be recognized at The Forum’s annual conference and European Conference program book, and have access to use “Certified Professional” marks in their resumes, curricula vitae, email signatures, business cards and letterheads. Furthermore, they may apply for graduate credit through Middlebury Institute of International Studies’ fully online MA in International Education Management program.

Job Hunting Support Service

CFN agents offer assistance on matters pertaining to job hunting via the Education Portal, such as how best to utilize it, when and how often to search, and increasing your odds of landing an offer.

The Education Portal also provides you with a structured curriculum consisting of video lessons, workbooks and monthly live events to guide each step of your job hunt and help develop the necessary skills and knowledge needed to become a bilingual professional.

At the Career Forum, you will have the chance to visit company booths and conduct in-person interviews with potential employers. In addition, seminars and workshops provide skills necessary for effective job searching.

CFN will provide you with your resume in both English and Japanese for easy distribution to companies at events. Be sure to review all information is up-to-date before presenting at an event so it will be easily read by attendees.

Attendance Support awards will be available to qualified applicants who cannot cover the cost of attending due to financial limitations. If chosen for one of these awards, be sure to bring one form of ID and proof of residence on event day so your award can be collected from the U.S. Career Forum registration desk.
