India vs Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Board’s Green Shirts represent Pakistan at international cricket matches and compete as full members of the International Cricket Council in Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 international cricket matches.

Pakistan are current world champions in both ODI and T20 competitions, having won both of their World Cup tournaments simultaneously as well as being runners-up twice prior to this success.

India and Pakistan share one of cricket’s greatest rivalries, making their games always highly anticipated events. Their first ever Test match took place back in 1952 at The Oval; Pakistan stunned everyone by unexpectedly beating India by winning that match despite only possessing limited cricket infrastructure due to being part of British Raj at that time.

As cricket grew increasingly popular, so did its rivalry between India and Pakistan; both nations becoming powerhouses of the sport. India and Pakistan have played some memorable Test matches against one another over time with packed stadiums creating electric atmospheres wherever these contests were staged.

Pakistan cricket flourished during the ’80s and ’90s under Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Asif and other greats of that time, such as Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif – however allegations of match-fixing followed them closely; eventually six players including Wasim and Waqar were banned varying lengths of time from playing due to allegations; nonetheless Imran Khan led them all the way towards their first major championship victory, when they took home the World Cup trophy in 1992!

Recent times have not been kind to Australia but in 2022 they managed to reclaim their place among the great teams by reaching the final of the World Cup and becoming only the fourth team ever. Subsequently they won their fourth ICC World T20 tournament by defeating Sri Lanka in the final matchup.

Pakistan have an outstanding record in the ICC Champions Trophy, winning three out of their four appearances and coming runner-up once. At the 2014 Cricket World Cup, they made headlines by topping Group B with wins over New Zealand, Zimbabwe and Australia before falling to eventual champions South Africa in the Quarter-Finals.

At 2017 Champions Trophy they reached the final against West Indies where Mohammad Amir and Imran Tahir led an emphatic bowling display and achieved victory without conceding even one wicket! It marked history as first team ever wining an entire tournament without conceding even one wicket ever before in history! This result marked history by being first team ever ever without conceding even one wicket!
