Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Gilgeous-Alexander, born July 12 in Toronto Ontario Canada on July 12, 1998 has quickly established himself as one of the league’s most exciting young players.

Drafted with 11th pick in 2018 NBA Draft by Charlotte Hornets but later traded to Los Angeles Clippers; named to NBA All Rookie Second Team.

Gilgeous-Alexander, at 26 years old, is currently leading the Thunder in scoring and on track to capture their inaugural NBA Championship.

As the youngest ever to lead his team in points, assists, and steals; SGA is set up perfectly to become an elite NBA player; this is only just his start!

Chet Holmgren

Holmgren may only have been in the NBA for a short time, yet he’s already left his mark on the Thunder. After becoming one of their top prospects after Kevin Durant left for free agency, Holmgren quickly established himself as an important team leader and one of the league’s premier young centers.

Oklahoma City’s style of play suits 6-foot-11, 215-pound center well. He provides a big body presence capable of dominating both in the post and on the perimeter while being an effective passer. Plus, he can hit an occasional jump shot.

His versatility is invaluable to the Thunder, who possess depth at both power forward and center positions. Additionally, he can cover short stints at small forward if necessary.

Ask players or staff members about Holmgren, and they will speak of his insatiable passion for basketball. He knows more than any current or former NBA player about the game and he is always keen to learn new tricks of the trade.

Holmgren began his rookie career by working with Drew Hanlen, the famed skills trainer who has guided the offseason itineraries of Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, and many other stars. Hanlen helped Holmgren develop offensive skills while teaching him how to take advantage of his height both offensively and defensively.

Holmgren has experienced remarkable progress. He’s shooting an impressive 57% from the field and averaging 18 points and eight rebounds per game – an outstanding offensive contributor and solid rim protector.

Last June, Holmgren became an NBA champion and is playing his best basketball of his career since being selected second overall by Oklahoma City Thunder in 2022. Though customary for NBA winners to visit the White House after becoming champions, he’s uncertain if that will happen given that he hails from Minnesota and doesn’t support Donald Trump’s policy of separating families; plus his focus is solely on winning another championship; something which won’t come easy in today’s apron era!

Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama is one of the tallest NBA players ever and top-rated prospect in the 2023 NBA Draft. He won a silver medal with France’s youth national team as a result.

Victor plays for Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 in French Pro A League where he is an integral component to their success averaging 21 points and 11.5 rebounds per game this season.

At an early age, Wembanyama’s unique height attracted coaches and scouts’ notice. Born in Le Chesnay – an outlying suburb 10.4 miles outside Paris – his height quickly made him stand out on the basketball court; quickly becoming a well-rounded player that played multiple positions while possessing an accurate shooting touch with an excellent understanding of game play that allowed him to pass it effectively.

A top-rated prospect, this player has been instrumental in the Metropolitans’ recent run of success. In 2024 he led his team in scoring, rebounding, blocks and MVP honors – as well as impressing internationally by winning two silver medals with France National Team.

Recently he made waves at the FIBA World Cup by showing outstanding displays both offensively and defensively. At just 20 years old, he earned himself a spot in this highly competitive tournament; and his performance there cemented his status as an elite young talent.

Though Wembanyama boasts impressive skills, he has experienced some injury issues in the past. He missed significant periods due to a leg injury; its recovery will be pivotal for his career advancement.

Even with his recent injuries, Wembanyama remains one of the NBA’s premier prospects. An exceptional shot blocker and rebounder with an effective jump shot, as well as being an incredible passer who can manage both sides of the court equally efficiently, Wembanyama stands out among his peers as an exceptional finisher capable of scoring from outside and inside of the arc.
